I was born and raised in Leeds, England and moved to New York City twenty years ago.

I have always had a natural desire to create, and have learned to apply this itch and my disciplined processes in many areas with-in design, advertising and marketing. Keeping ahead of the game is key in this field, and I am always excited about new ventures and new challenges.

With the ability to multitask and work calmly under stressful conditions, I always bring positive energy, an English sense of humor and courtesy to any situation I’m in. I work well with others and have a collaborative, flexible approach when working with clients. With more than 20 years in this business, I have developed excellent negotiating skills tempered with an easygoing style, always an asset, both with clients and within an agency.

I am an analytical and abstract thinker with strong mathematical and mechanical problem-solving abilities. A range of interests and knowledge outside my work environment keeps my perspective fresh, for me and for the work.

Lifestyle

An avid snowboarder venturing from east to west coast. Played soccer from a young age from outfield to goalkeeper. Late bloomer in shorter distance running (5.33 min mile). Other activities include tennis, pilates, tie boxing, fishing, cooking and cycling to name a few. I like to travel and experience other cultures as I feel it helps to broaden my cultural scope.

Music has been a passion for many years and started out as a teenager DJing all over the English landscape in front of as many as 10,000 people at one venue. Since moving to NYC in 2000 I took up learning instruments and producing my own music. I have been in numerous bands and performed live at many venues in NYC.

I am the treasurer on the board of the building that I live in and also I have a keen eye and interest for real estate, investment opportunities and northern Rhone wine.

Over the past 20 years I have had a breadth of experience. I position myself as a multidisciplinary creative director and design director with strong working abilities in UI/UX/IA and creative strategy coinciding with a foundation in branding, design and advertising which prepares me for any of today’s tasks.

Every project comes with different challenges, needs and budgets. I have the ability and expertise to work on a wide range of creative while also managing and directing teams, agencies & vendors.
